Over the past fortnight, Salem district has experienced consistent rainfall, particularly within Corporation limits, with heavy downpours this week. Acknowledging the impact of the monsoon season, Corporation authorities have heightened dengue prevention measures across all 60 wards. According to sources within the Health Department, Salem Corporation has recorded 14 cases of dengue from January to May 24 this year, with the most recent case reported on April 14.
